Musical Interlude: Elegy for Dunkirk

Since it's a little while since we had some music for writing...

One of my favorite pieces of music, from one of my favorite soundtracks, from one of the most incredibly shot scenes in one of my favorite movies, based on one of my favorite books, Atonement by Ian McEwan.

Elegy for Dunkirk composed by Dario Marianelli, one of my favorite composers. Makes me remember my grandfathers, Harry and Frank, and moves me every single time.

  1. Absolutely beautiful. There's something about cellos, too.
